A little about me

I’m a surgeon with over 20 years of experience working and teaching all around the world. Throughout my career, I’ve seen one thing clearly: no matter where you are, patients often don’t get the clear, straightforward information they need about their health. That inspired me to create SurgiSense – a place where I can share what I’ve learned and help you make sense of your body and your condition.

I know the healthcare system doesn’t always make this easy. Sometimes appointments are rushed and there isn’t time to explain things properly. That’s why I’m passionate about providing clear, honest information that you can come back to whenever you need it – helping you answer the questions you might have been afraid to ask before.

Alongside my clinical work, I’ve worked with universities mentoring medical students and surgeons in training. I believe medicine shouldn’t be about memorising endless lists – it’s about truly understanding how the body works and what happens when it doesn’t. My hope is to help, both patients and students, gain that understanding.

Thank you for visiting SurgiSense. I’m here to support you on your health journey and to make surgery and medical information a little less scary and a lot more understandable.
